Michelle Matheson

As a mom with two young boys in Gig Harbor schools, Michelle has been focused on improving the Gig Harbor community for its young families. As a soccer mom, she saw how substantially disadvantaged the region was for organized athletic activities, so she worked to unite existing groups to bring more opportunity to Gig Harbor. Under Michelle’s positive leadership, she united families who are passionate about sports and community leaders alike in a community coalition focused on working together to plan, build, and fund the Gig Harbor Sports Complex. website

Le Rodenberg

Le has lived in Gig Harbor for 23 years and believes planning for the future starts with infrastructure to support growth before new projects are approved. Le will help families and businesses grow by simplifying the permit process and modernizing the town’s badly-needed infrastructure. On the council, he will help restore transparency and civility to city government in Gig Harbor and work to find pragmatic, commonsense solutions. Le is proud to have the endorsement of first responders, veterans’ groups, and former mayors and council members. website

Tracie Markley

Tracie graduated from Peninsula High School in 1994 and remembers when there was only one traffic light in town. She chose to raise her own children in her hometown, and resides in Gig Harbor North with her husband of eighteen years and two teenage daughters. She will represent Gig Harbor on the council to help her neighbors today and also strengthen the town’s family orientation for future generations. Tracie believes in preserving the character and history of Gig Harbor, but also managing inevitable growth in a way that is smart, well-planned, and retains its integrity. website
